Per state guidelines, schools must have an approved and detailed safe reopening plan with measures that comply with the state’s safe reopening criteria for schools.
That said, as a school district, we should be doing everything in our power to ensure we are ready to hit the ground running when we are giving the green-light to reopen. We must work as quickly as possible to re-open our schools. Re-opening schools is not just for the well-being and mental health of our children but also for our economy. For those who cannot return to physical school for any reason, we must have an equivalent virtual option.
